Company Background

RFG Associates, Inc. was started by Robert F. Guentter, Jr. AICP in 1988. RFG was incorporated in 1992 and is located in Zanesville, Ohio with a satellite office in Plain City, Ohio.  The firm has served hundreds of clients, including counties, cities, villages, schools, non-profits, and small businesses throughout Ohio.  RFG provides grant preparation, administration, and evaluation, infrastructure financing and implementation, FEMA grant preparation and administration, business planning and financing, and economic development. To-date, we have helped our clients receive almost $60,000,000 in grant and low-interest loan assistance and have successfully administered and implemented hundreds of projects with excellent outcomes and no audit findings.

Rob has worked in community and economic development for over 35 years in Pennsylvania and Ohio.  He is a graduate of Penn State with a BS in Business Administration and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA).  He is also a graduate of the Cooke Strategic Planning Institute and holds an Ohio School Superintendent's License. Rob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and the American Evaluators Association (AEA).

Tricia has worked in the not-for-profit industry throughout the mid-west for over 20 years, and has been writing grants, administering programs, and performing continuous improvement evaluations for over ten years. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Marketing. Tricia has served on several state and local board of directors, including the Ohio Travel Association, United Way, the YMCA, and the Jonathan Alder Athletic Boosters. She is on the Ohio Department of Education’s State Evaluator Task Force and has assisted ODE in various capacities over the last several years. She is a member of the Ohio Afterschool Network (OAN), American Evaluation Association (AEA) and the OPEG (Ohio Program Evaluators Group) where she serves on the Program Committee.
